Can't just dive in and start this whole posting thing willy-nilly, after all.

Anyway, today:

Made cinnamon pancakes with the kids today, turnign into a weekend tradition for us.  Have pulled clothes to be tossed into a sack and hauled off.  Barely started the toy threshing, however -- just four large trucks of Evan's that he hardly plays with anymore.  Need to start making room for the Christmas bounty for them.  Also need to start the cleaning at some point for goose dinner on Saturday.

Goose dinner, an authentic Xmas meal, isn't it? How do you like it? (I know this isn't the first time you had goose dinner for Xmas). Too late for us this year since we brought home a duck and wish no bickering on the dinner table...

We've actually had years (when my in-laws were hosting) when it's been a duck dinner. Or a duck/goose dinner -- the guests are numerous enough that we need two foul to feed 'em all, even after taking into account the vegetarian and the children-who-will-not-eat-meat (such as my own two). I quite like goose.

I thought we only had duck once at goose dinner, but we can never remember how many goose dinners we've actually had, so we can't go by my memory.
